Harlequin tusk owners

Anyone elses tusk "hoard" food? during feeding time mine will quickly grab as many pieces as it can and stash them in a particular cave, and eat later. just wondering if this was specific to mine or other people have had the same experiences

When I had him, he used to do something similar but he would hoard all the food in his mouth, eventually going behind a rock and spitting everything out where he could eat it slowly, without competition.
