Hello everyone. I’ve been seeing a decent amount of these flatworms/planaria? In my nano. I’ve used flatworm eXit twice now, but they seem to be unaffected. They look different compared to the red flatworms, and are very small. Are they harmless? My tank is 2 months old. I supplied a photo of the critter I have (it’s super small, sorry for the quality issue), and a photo of the common flatworm. Thanks.

Yes, they look like red planeria. Not as bad as some of the fw's. I treated ours numerous times with FW exit as well. We tried a coris wrasse and a blue velvet nudi. Finally eliminated them but I can't tell you what method actually worked to win the battle. I have it narrowed down to coming in on my cheato since they appeard in my big tank. Cheato was the only thing that was split between the two tanks.

This looks like red planaria right? I don't have any chaeto in my tank, and my organic nutrient levels are very low, so hopefully they just naturally disappear. Thank you.
