I made a lot of changes so I figured I'd just make a new thread so it's less confusing.

--

I built the stand a bit wider and deeper than the actual aquarium, this
allowed me to have ledges on the side and room for hoses in the back.

Drilled and ready to be painted.

The back is painted with Black Rustoleum Oil based paint.
I'm using Two Glass Holes 700 GPH Overflows and Two 3/4" Returns.
(Overflows are separate, and a single return line split to two outlets)

That stand is built like a tank could park on it. :)

All those hoses go into the wall. Where's the pics of the other side of the wall?

The fish room is not directly under the Aquarium but down and to the side (diagonally)

The skimmer is a Lifereef VS3-36 fed by a Mag24 mump into a Mazzei Venturi. Outside air is fed into the
Venturi to help keep the PH up and the air from the collection cup is vented to outside to reduce the smell.

The Return pump is a Panworld 150PS that also feeds the Manifold for the Media reactors and the filter-sock.

The Frag tank is fed from the Stock tank with a Mag7 Pump and the light is a homemade Four tube T5 light

Sump & FT.jpg

Four 250 Eheim/Jager Watt heaters, I used PVC T and X to make a frame to hold the heaters.
Note: I did need to bore out the inside of the T a little so the Heaters would fit.
(I was running Four 200 watt Heaters but had a few cold winter days where they could not keep up)

Stand finished and the New light (Hamilton Cebu Sun)
Full.jpg

This is where I mounted the Moonlights in a piece of "L" Aluminum across the front of the light.
(If you look close you can see the 3 led boxes for the Neptune Apex Moonlights)

The stand is basically a stand with an extra large frame around it.

This is a view behind the tank so you can see the space for hoses etc.

Looks good! Post some more pictures as the tank matures. Love seeing them progress.
