Due to the stress during shipping, a thin film has developed around the zoanthid polyps.

The film doesn't tear easily.

I'm wondering whether this is actually the remaining outer tissue or skin after the polyp tissue has started to deteriorate, making it look like a thin film.

Has anyone experienced something similar and successfully treated it? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any treatments that worked.
