Has this magnet gone bad???

My ICP test showed slightly elevated toxic metals, so I'm checking all clamps and pumps for rust. My GHL probe holder looks a bit suspect. Notice the discoloration on one of the magnets? I have another single probe GHL holder that has zero discoloration, so I'm thinking I should replace this probe holder.

Any feedback appreciated. @GoVols?

Yes, it seems that there was infiltration of the plastic protection and corrosion of the metal; iron, chromium, nickel, boron and neodymium may be present in the magnetic alloy and released into the aquarium by corrosion.
