As title states I'm trying to update my P4 to the newest firmware. I just downloaded the newest non-beta GCC V1.1.1.7. After restoring my P4 data I attempted to update firmware via usb and keep getting a GHL communications port issue. The driver software for this is not installing. Even when I attempt to update driver software through the device manager over the web it will find the software but says it has encountered an error while trying to install it. I've tried deleting the device in device manager and starting over with no avail.

I remember having a similar issue with Windows 7. I then jumped to Windows 10 and had no problems with this task. I had other non-GHL issues with 10 so I went back to 8.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Rob
