I purchase this tanks used, seems to be a great deal, I hosed it down before brining it Inside and honestly never noticed the glass being hazy. You can see where there is drip marks where something ate away what looks like calcium or hard water deposits. I cleaned it with dish soap cause it was loaded with dust from being in a garage. So my question is, how to you get rid of this haze? I am afraid then when I add 2 part to my water it will solidify on the glass. Need help! I have tried white vinegar, tub and tile cleaner, toothpaste etc.

Oh I love those Oceanics. Nice score.

You should probably consider using vinegar(an acid) to try to remove it. Assuming it's a salts creep or calcium or mineral residue.

I just watched this video and this is exactly what I have. I will try this next as I used the vinegar and it didn't work. I hate putting snake oils in my tank but it's now or never at this point.

Nope. Not snake oil.
It's a very very very fine sanding. It won't etch the glass but will take other stuff off.

I tried the bar keepers secret tonight, it helped a little but this haze will not disappear. I am not sure what would even cause it. The glass of perfectly smooth. When it's wet, you don't see it at all. I can live with it, as long as when the lights are in, it doesn't show the haze. Any other thoughts???
