Awesome weekend visiting my father. I had some great quality time with my granddaughter! She is such an awesome young lady. Just wrapped up the weekend flying a kite and icecream.

It was super nice getting home and seeing my Exquisite Wrasse back to normal and eating like a pig. But my little batch of GHA exploded. Time to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I can't complain to much about the GHA, this is my first bout with it since setting up the tank.

Water is mixing, tommorow evening is manual removal and wc.

Now THATS a kite! Sweet!

Share pics after the cleanup :)

Is it possible to grab a pic of the exquisite wrasse?
Wasn't an easy task taking pics because he moves 100mph! I snapped a few hopefully some turned out. I could zoom and keep up!

Thanks Don! She's seven and I noticed her attention span averages 1 minute per year of age. She didn't last long with the kite when ice cream was mentioned. :D

That is awesome. Love kite flying. The last time I did was not that fancy. The kids and I made some out of garbage bags and dowel rods we had laying around, LOL! Worked great though.

Nothing exciting going on with the tank. I spent last night starting my cleanup in prep for another large wc. Skimmer cleaned, sump cleaned, carbon reactor cleaned and reloaded. Running some FW exit through the system to rid the system of some red planeria's that hitch hiked in on some cheato. The wife's tank is 100% free of FW's but it took about 6 treatments to get there. 1st time was Rocky and a little scary, now it's a cakewalk.

My gosh! I have a ton of bristle worms, they must have sneaked in with the cheato as well. Tossing around a coral banded shrimp. Pros and cons? They look pretty cool but I have personally never kept one. The only other shrimp in the system is tiger pistol. Haven't heard or seen the pistol since my reboot though.

I plan to test a couple of hours post wc, if everything tests good I plan to snag my corals from my buddies house and give it a go! My only coral survivors are -
Some utter chaos
Little plug of butt kissers
A torch
Lobo
Bi-colored Monti

They are territorial, you shouldnt have an issue at all with your space. Very cool creatures. Personality galore. Jerks ;)

It's been a CRAZY & BUSY day to say the least! Found out my neighbor is moving so I got a great deal on all of his corals and live stock. This is before I started this morning.

This is where I stopped for the evening, minus a little work in my sump and mixing water in a bit.

I would say it's a heck of a transformation and that's only 2/3 of the corals! We have more to move Tuesday. Then the fish! I have other things I'm adding to the tank soon....yep, finally going to buy an APEX. Included with the corals and fish are some 48" t5's and all his dosing pumps, jugs and chemicals, salt, test kits food and the list goes on and on. I'm a happy camper!!!

Here is the now picks, everything is placed but not glued, still have more stuff to add and I'm sure more stuff to move around.
