So I bought an inkbird thermostat, before using it I decided to test it by placing the probe in my tank and plugged a lightbulb into the inkbird,I live in south Florida and my house is kept at 75 day,,72 at night
My tank bottoms out at 6-7 am at 77.8 and my heater kicks in set at 78 at the low end
Then my tank heats to 81 gradually during the day 8 bulb t5's
It seems my heater is used once a day
Never really gave it thought but living in the south has its advantages....
