Looking for advise on how to keep things stable. Just recently added some fans to the tanks.
my DT are a 54G and 210G and have been running hot 80-81.5 - lights shut off at 80.5 along with uv sterilizer bulb.
Both systems now have fans 24v computer style fans to blow across the water.
Is this ideal programming?
Heater is ON @ 77* and OFF @ 78*
Fans is ON @ 79* and OFF @ 78*
Should I have an overlap? or maybe 1* separation?
Theoretically the tanks will have a 1* fluctuation zone @ 78.00-78.99*
In practice I do not expect the temps to stay this tight.
Both tanks are running hot these last couple days, high humidity and house is set to 78*. This is why I finally to around to installing the fans.
Not sure the two fans will be enough on the large tank, they are 120MM. The two on the 54 are 80mm.
It doesn't help that I have halides on both tanks, and that the tanks are in the same room together. if this does not work i may resort to a window AC unit but don't want to.
