Complete newbie here! Have kept freshwater tanks before.

Currently looking at a Hello Reef Kit
Or
Innovative Marine 15g AIO but i would need any all suggestions on building it out.

With research I've done, I feel like I can make my own “KIT” cheaper than the hello reef

Welcome!! I really like IM equipment. I sure recommend them if you go that direction. I bought a EXT100. Great

My thoughts was get the fusion 15 and invest in good lighting and get good flow, get my coral established while using the included sock/filtration, save some more and upgrade filtration and add the critters as budget allows instead of spending a ton up front to get everything I want at the beginning. Basically budgeting as i go or should get my critters going before coral

This is a solid plan, in my opinion. You can often find used gear along the way too.
