Hello,
I'm Malcolm from Austin, TX. I've had my first reef aquarium a little over a year now, and have leaned on these forums heavily to get everything set up.
I've got a 55 gallon aquarium with a 40 gal sump tank and a 20 gal reservoir to condition my salt water for water changes. I just put the finishing touches on a custom build stand to make my tank look like it's build in to the wall. I also plumbed in a RO/DI water supply and drain to automate water changes and water top offs as much as possible without having to drag hoses across my living room once a week. I'm getting ready to add a DIY dosing pump with 6 channels and a DIY water sensing power strip to shut off pumps in the advent of a water leak (there's been more than I'd like to count).
I've really been enjoying this hobby, and look forward to populate my tank with more coral to make it pop.
