Hello from Central Illinois

Hello everyone! I started off many years ago with a 55 gallon freshwater aquarium. My kids loved it when they were growing up. Now that they are out on their own, I decided to dive into the saltwater world and start a reef tank. I think the grandchildren will love it. I have purchased a used 120 gallon reef ready system with a sump. Have my skimmer purchased and an RO/DI. I am taking this in steps and hope to start getting the tank ready in a few months.

Hi Mike and welcome to R2R. I'm a fellow Illinoisan and, with any luck, will be changing that as soon as possible!

Hey there! Awesome that you are starting up a reef tank. My kids loved my tanks when they were growing up, and now my 2 year old grandson loves to help me feed the tank.
