Check out the IM 25gal lagoon. Not a bad deal if you shop in different areas. Heck the rank at a LFS has is for $219 on sale. I got the whole deal for about $600 skimmer included. Only other thing I need is a light. But have an extra xr15 I will put on it.

Hello and Welcome to R2R! I also have a 180 gl and have a portable generator ready just in case an event like yours occurs. I can run the fish tanks and the fridge with no problem. If I lost my entire tank through some unfortunate event, then I would never go smaller. I would just get the tank up and running again and slowly add the living

Ive been debating nano or a 120. I just dont know that I want to break the bank just yet. The 120 range would get me into the fish I want (trigger/tang) and then of course need to add a ton of corals. Depends what kind of deal I can find, truthfully. And yes to the generator. I have one now.

Yes FB is another way. When I got my 150 I just couldn’t find what I wanted. So I got a new SCA…. Can’t say enough about my setup. Then I got the lagoon for a maroon that is wanting to kill the other maroon on a regular! Haha!
Here is a shot of the 150… and the lagoon 25 is in the works of being put together. Just finished the 150 not long ago with the basics. Now on to buying nems haha. Yea some are in jail, including Mrs Evil haha!

Ahh go big. You know you want to.! Seriously small tank will scratch the itch but is gonna cost a grand anyway all said and done. No need for designer tank I have a 20 year old All Glass. Now Aqueon. Take your time and good luck with your project

Yeah- debated this all ways and Im grabbing a 125g next weekend. Lord knows how long this will take to set up, but I figured go slow, and just build what I want. I will likely do a build thread and def be posting for help along the way.
