Hello all, I am a new to the saltwater side but have in depth experience on the freshwater side keeping multiple high-tech planted tanks with finnicky shrimp and soft water fish/plant species. I recently aquired an IM 25L at a screaming good deal, and decided that I wanted to continue to evolve my craft by attempting a softie/LPS reef tank. I have a pretty good idea on what I am going to do for my build, and will create a new thread later on to start documenting my progress. If anyone is a reefer/aquarist in the Albuquerque, NM area, please say hi so we can grab a beer and talk fish! Have a nice day everyone.

Welcome to R2R and thanks for saying hello :)

Albuquerque... is hot lol.
It might be a good idea to invest in a chiller.

I thought the same thing having moved here from Florida, but surprisingly enough, even with the "Swamp Cooler" and it being almost 100 outside, the house is pretty stable and the tank stays very stable with just a small computer fan.
