Hi, I'm in the early stages of setting up a new fish only marine tank, my first ever, and still getting over the shock of the upfront cost of everything and the complexity of the process!! But really enjoying it all at the same time.

I've got a 33g tank, filled with (currently fresh RO) water and fake rocks. Comes with lights, filter and heater.
Going to add Red Sea salt this evening.

Currently reading up on the nitrogen cycle, about which I will probably post a question in another forum thread (about Dr Tims One and Only: is it true what Dr Tim says - you can add fish straight away, no need to cycle the tank?)

Anyway, good to be hear. From my browsing around so far this looks like such a great place to get advice.

Welcome!!!! So, fish only? What do you think you want to keep? I had FO a while ago, when I was 20yrs old, do not want to tell how long ago that was.
Ask away with questions. We love to help out.

Still hope to get out your way some day. On my to do list. Just gotta get rid of these pests (aka kids). :)
