Hello! I was just crab fishing off the Golden gate Bridge a couple of weeks ago. I have the exact same aquatop 40 gallon as you, I just acquired mine from a seller who was frustrated. Im also a beginner in saltwater and learning as much as I can. This place has lots of answers so feel free to ask away.
