Welcome to R2R. I live the Blue Ridge Parkway (Crozet, VA). Beautiful set-up. Who takes care of it during turkey season? ;)

hahah right? and deer season;) I have - dubbed my own nickname- "the widow of hunting season" a couple weeks out of the year. Just me and the dogs! Let's just say hunting season really made me have to learn what is actually going on with the tank vs. thinking its pretty! I love Crozet! We used to live up in Sperryville - it is so beautiful up there.

Hey from fellow mountain folk! In Asheville NC myself
Nice! I love Asheville - I'm originally from Raleigh and have alot of friends there. We have a friend who owns a bar in Asheville, "The Whale" you should check it out! Great beer/wine selection and awesome food.

Hi all! I am new to R2R and reef tanks in general - this is my first one. I have previously had freshwater tanks. Can't wait to learn more and get some tips!!

We used dry rock to set up the tank so I'm anxiously awaiting the coralline to take over!

Thank you! We tried to put alot of thought into it before even purchasing anything - still made mistakes, but thats part of the fun. This forum was a lifesaver for that! Still wish we would have gone with a bigger tank ;)

R u kidding me I go to the whale all the time! They have a whale skeleton hanging from the ceiling it is a total trip. The funny thing is Asheville is so diverse but still so redneck less than a mile away there’s a bar with a real tractor hanging from the ceiling! Next time you are here check out Zia Taqueria next door if you haven’t already. Amazing carnitas!!! Dang it now I’m hungry and stuck at work

Love Raleigh too. My daughter graduated from Meredith College there in 1996 their centennial year.
