Hello from the Northeast.

Elmo Hello GIF by Sesame Street

Hello all, new to reefer tanks, but not aquariums in general. Ran a few tanks back in the day, 55 gal, but when the babies (Discus) got big, went 125 gal. Incredibly beautiful specimens for a fresh water set up. I'm venturing into a reefer, small cube like style, JBJ, Waterbox, IM or Red Sea. Like the 15% off on the JBJ (on BRS) right now so may pull the trigger on that. Will load up thoughts in another forum.
Looking forward to all the help and advice.
Thanks in advance R2R.

Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I wish I had started build thread when still in planning stages, which sounds like right now you are in that phase. Instead, I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
