Where do I start? So if you count doing aquarium maintenance with my dad, I’ve been into FW aquarium keeping for longer than I’ve been able to talk and walk :D. He always talked about wanting to start a SW aquarium but at the time, it would’ve been insanely expensive (that was his reasoning).
Luckily it became much more affordable, I dipped my toes into setting up my first SW aquarium a few years ago…pretty sure it’s posted somewhere to this forum, unfortunately lost access to the email for that account. it was two pico tanks with maricultured live rocks. Ended up moving and couldn’t take them with…and then again a second time. This time around I had maybe 2-3 FW setups up and running and one SW. I was in a fairly toxic relationship at the time, they complained about the fish tanks a lot amongst other things. I regret it now but at the time I just wanted them to be happy too so I tore the aquariums down (shocker, it didn’t work lol).
After that relationship ended ive slowly but surely started to participate in my hobbies and am on track to completing my associates degree by next year. I currently have a “rescue” 36G FW and planning on setting up my 20H, 10G, and maybe the 5G yet again. If you’re going to take anything from this, don't compromise over a fish tank lol.
