Current set-up is a 180G 72x24x25 with 40G sump, dual overflows, 3 power heads (I'm not going to get all into it just yet detailing the brand and metrics of every piece of equipment I have...) totaling about 1500G/hr, 2 sumps with another 1200G/hr and a Fluval F6. Still currently running fluorescent lights until I can buy some LEDs. I just recently bought a house and upgraded from a 29G set-up to this (imo) massive tank which has been a dream forever and of course so much more work than I originally anticipated but it's starting to taper off a bit.

I have a Master's in Medical Science and a bachelor's in biology with a chem minor so that's helped, but I got started in saltwater tanks about 14 years ago before college as I grew up on a lake, loved the ocean and have always been obsessed. My tank is just about done cycling and I lost a few fish and my inverts unfortunately in the move (sommany things I would have done differently had I known how it was going to go... we live and learn).

Profile is basically barren but you can find me on IG @Myinvert3dlife and see my old setup and some of the new.

Anyway happy to meet like minded, passionate and scientific reef friends here.

Here's some before and after (kind of... doors are on it now lol and it's full). Keep getting promoted at work and its interfering with my work in the new house ‍.

Best,

Rach

Welcome! You have the start of an epic reef tank there. Looking forward to watching it evolve.
Thanks! I know it's a process and have the necessary patience. I'm super excited to watch it evolve and happy the have the R2R family to share my passion with.
