Ammonia is lighter green. Don’t know .5 or 1.0. Check back in on Monday

Might be worth getting an Inkbird or something for the heater if you'd like some peace of mind that your tank won't get cooked in the event your heater goes rogue. Welcome back, and good luck!
Yah. I always use InkBird . And I had heater situation when at work . The ability to remotely work the problem meant I was able to fix it without laying eyes.

I think so. Still going to wait 4 weeks for fish but I’m going to order some galaxy pods and phyto for AlgaeBarn

I've been really happy with both lids I got from Kraken. Is this your first go round with the blade light? and did you have slots cut on the Kraken for it?

I haven't figured out a 2nd light for another 10G tank I am slowly piecing together. Where I'd like to put the tank is on a metal shelf I have, but I need something like the blade to actually fit it there. If I can get the blade on without modifying the lid that would be perfect.

@Kraken Reef lid came in today. Fit perfect. Can already see some of the evaporation saved which is just a bonus. Will be checking ammonia levels on Sunday. Stay warm everyone this weekend

This is my first blade light. With the Waterbox 220 i had AI32 i think. And i did have 1 slot cutout for the powerhead. The blade sits right on top of the lid so should be good there

I had my Blade sitting flat on the tank's screen lid just fine for quite a while; but for about $25 more I am appreciating the raised 'L' legs that bring them up just a touch. Helps with the light spread for one.

We got some life in the tank! Wow these galaxy pods are amazing

Goal now is 2 weeks with lights off still and dose OceanMagik once per day. Then at 2 week mark I’ll place an order for first fish from Dr Reef. When fish arrive that’s when I’ll add the lights at 50%. Wait another couple weeks( or if I start seeing algae sooner) and add CUC and another fish

So fish list: (2) clowns, 1 possum wrasse and 1 goby. Just not sure what order I should add. Clownfish since they are more hardy? Possum is more timid supposedly so add it and goby at same time? Opinions?

Decided to go with Dinkins as I’ve used them before. Hooked into monthly subscription of pods/phyto. Algae Barn is good too, used their products a few times in the past. And think about all the baby pods you can’t see…..

So went ahead and placed order with Dr Reef for 2 clownfish and cleaner shrimp. Been dosing 5 ml of phyto a day for pods. Also the plank mini and kraken lid adapter came in. Ordered the Shelly smart plug they recommend also. Getting the plug setup was a lot more of a headache then i thought but got it going. It will just run once in evening b/c my kids really want to feed the fish

I did turn lights on for 10 hours a day at 25% intensity for the past week. No diatoms on sand bed yet but I did have to clean the glass yesterday.

Hoping for fish delivery this week but have not gotten the invoice to pay yet. We do know see some pods on the tank glass which is atleast something in tank

The introducing pods early and extended lights out might be on to something for no ugly stage. Still nothing so far. Might be regretting my words though once fish are in tank

Still no word on fish delivery. I believe this is the 4th week from when I got the email saying they have fish in-hand. and being QT'd. 5 or 6 days of the week I put 5mL of phyto for pods. No crazy algae still
