Hi,
I'm Luc and I've been in the saltwater hobby for almost 7 years.
I always wanted a saltwater tank but couldn't afford it in college. Never thought about it even after I landed a decent job out of college.
My brother kept one while he was in college and got me started in this reefing madness.
I'm on my second tank since I had to tear down my 29gal to move across the country to SoCal for a job back in 2011. Took a break because I wasn't sure if I was going to stay in California for long.
Started getting back into the hobby in late 2013. I've learned a lot since then.
Moved my tank from Long Beach to Costa Mesa (in Orange County) and a stressed seahare nuked all fish and invertebrates, only a few corals survived. Almost gave up the hobby.
I'm planning to do it right this time. Will not lose to nuisance algae again!!! ;)
