Jumping back into the hobby. Getting my new tank setup next week. I had a 60 gallon tank about 30 years ago. Started with live rock, I don’t remember which part of the South Pacific it came from. I had a steep learning curve, turned out that it was infested with tube worms. It took a while to get everything squared away but it eventually became a nice tank. Unfortunately when I moved, a helper broke my tank and I didn’t have the time to deal with it so I gave it all to a friend. Back then we didn’t have the options of overnight parts that we have now.

Anyway, it appears that everything has changed so much that I’m going to have to become a beginner again. So I decided to start with a complete system setup by the store. Hopefully that will give me a good start.
