Hey all,
My name is JR and I've been bit by the bug again. It all started early this past summer when my kids won two goldfish at our local annual fair. From there, it escalated to tropical freshwater fish (for the kids, of course) and now leaping head-first into saltwater again. I used to have a nano saltwater tank back when I was single (someone has to keep me company at 2am), but left this hobby when I got married. 6 years later, I am back!
Skills to pay for this madness: I work as a Senior Analyst for an IT department for the past 9 years and run a side photography business (newborns, kids, maternity, general portraiture).
Current Projects: I have 3 tanks that I am working on. Two 40B tanks (think, His&Hers) as well as a 5 foot tank (~110gal). The larger one is getting shelved for a little bit while I get the smaller two running. It will eventually be a custom-built (by me) headboard for the master bedroom, which is taking a fair amount of time to design due to its requirements. The 40B pair will be our home office tanks.
For the past few months, I have been an anonymous lurker on R2R forum posts and finally joined. I'm glad I did and hope to be around for years to come.
