Hello everyone. I am Rebelle. New to saltwater tanks. We set up our first tank about 3 months ago now. It's a 125 reef tank. Been struggling along with it lately, but hopefully once I get this algae under control it will be good! My husband recently set up a 90 gal tank that is going to be a predator/coral tank.

We are new transplants to IL from NC. Parents of 8 kids, 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson due in January. I am currently looking for work and my husband J is a power lineman.

I look forward to getting to know you and bug you with my 1 million questions and problems lol.

Thanks I will get some pics today. Been busy with a sick kid, but have to get some topoff water today so will be good time for some pics. I pulled the tank apart last weekend and cleaned it. Pulled rock and scrubbed it down. I believe its the green hair algae. I have also seen some spots of the purple looking stuff on the sand, but I get that out as soon as I see it.
