Hi everyone :)

The name is Summer and I'm a female in my early 20's living In Canada in the beautiful British Colombia. I've got one sister and a dog (Zoey) and a Lineolated parakeet (Kiwi) and 3 betta fish (Levi, Phoenix and Captain) a community tank with different tetras&angels and 5 cichlids I'm studying to become a wildlife biologist.

I'm new around here, and I'm just looking to get tips and advice. I've been an avid fresh water fish keeper for just about 8 years.

I'm looking to (eventually) get my first salt water tank. I'm really interested in blue-green chromis and have watched so many videos on them. I haven't bought a tank yet or anything because I feel I'm no where near ready.

I feel really intimidated actually... salt water tank.. So you'll probably see me around asking many questions that maybe are repetitive with new comers, but I really want to do this right.

anyways, I'll stop babbling.. Hi :)

Hi Summer, what a pretty name. Welcome. Make yourself at home, and we're delighted to have you. Hey! I'm on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley. Are you near me? Thrilled to see another BC'er. I was hoping to be the first one to greet you, but @Crabs McJones always gets there first! DRAT!

Hi Summer !
I was life long fresh water and always afraid of starting a reef tank, so....here I am a year later doing a reef tank. I researched this forum for for a while and it gave me the confidence I needed (still was scared of screwing it up though:))
