Hello. I’ve been keeping fresh water tanks for a little over 4 years now. I have 1 heavily planted 75g and 1 lightly planted 10g. I just got the ok from the wife that I can get another tank lol. So for my next project I will like a saltwater tank with corals and fish and I have no idea where to start. I like to do research before I do anything to make my life easier so that’s why I decided to join this site. My first question is going to be... what is everyone’s thoughts on the fluval marine flex 32g?

Welcome to R2R!!! I think that would be a great first tank. I do agree that the bigger you can go the better as bigger tanks are more forgiving. Here are some go reads to help you start your journey.

Thanks for that info. I already ready the first one earlier today.. I’ll read the cycling one in a little bit.

I know bigger is better lol. But since this is my third fish tank, space is limited until I move out in a few years. I saw that tank and thought it would be good since it’s an all in one. But from a lot that I’ve read and have heard, a sump is needed for a saltwater tank. That’s why I’m questioning getting it

A sump is not needed for a saltwater aquarium. :) Look at @Katrina71 tanks.
