Just dipping my hands into salt water after years of fresh water. Super excited to be here to learn. I got a Fluval 13.5 (to start LOL) about a week ago and trying to get the system started. Like I said glad to learn any ideas to help get started would be appreciated. Thanks for reading!!

Please don’t add more rock. That scape is absolutely perfect!

If I could change something, I would remove the sugar grain sand and add a fine layer of Special grade sand. So you can have flow without the sand blowing everywhere. That’s just my opinion of course.
