I don’t know if it would make it slimy but I know if it’s too active in the reactor and not barely tumbling at the top it will grind at each other and break down which you don’t want and it could discolor the water. The slim is what’s throwing me off.Brand is brs.an it is in a reactor

What sort of animals are you keeping? Are any missing? Definitely need some more water changes I think.
