Last week I picked up the Instant Ocean SeaClone as I had a gift card for PetSmart and I figured well what the heck I'll try it. Now it's barely even breaking in and has some other negative aspects which I feel unsure of. I only paid $100 and I know there are some other skimmers I can get for around the same price. So with this breakdown I'd like some helping figuring out if I should return this one and get a different one or stick with it.

  • SeaClone 100 ($100, already own it)
  • SCA 301 ($103 on Amazon)
  • Bubble Magus NAC3.5 ($120 from R2R member)
  • ???
Thanks everyone!

Look into the Aqua Maxx WS-1 in sump skimmer, it is outside you budget. I would also look at the SCA301 skimmer
