Help! Damaged Hammer

Hey reefers, I’ve currently got a frogspawn/hammer (frammer?) frag in my coral QT, that has been doing well, but while rearranging some things I knocked it off and it was torn up while I was trying to rescue it.

Some of the flesh detatched and a couple of polyps were floating around. After some shock, it seems to be puffing back up okay, but there’s plenty of torn flesh, and a hanging group of polyps that I’m not sure if I should leave or clip off?

Any thoughts?

Idk about dipping it. I'm sure it will heal just fine but keep an eye on it.

If that's just due to it falling and getting damaged, I'd just observe it. Should start to recover over the next week or two.

Yeah, just due to it being scraped along some rockwork as I fished the frag back out of a crevice. I’ll leave alone and see how it does
