See video below. My tank initially had a dino problem 3 months ago. I fixed it and then had a massive spike in what appear to be GHA. I put 20 turbo snails and also have 4 tangs (purple, blue, whitetail and achilles). No one seems to care to eat this stuff.
After about a month, almost all the turbo snails died. The tank was getting overrun so I used ReefFlux (fluconazole) for 2 weeks. That seem to help so I did a water change and then it got worst again, much worse. So I again doses ReefFlux and its been 3 weeks.
Again ReefFlux seems to help but its not eliminating issue. I suspect it will come back big time after I do a water change.
Right now still have about 4 turbos alive, all my crabs are fine and other snails. I will put more turbos in. I think they died from the dino that didnt get fully removed.
So is this GHA and why isnt my tangs or the snails eating it? I dont think this is dino cause the other dino I had a few months ago was in long strands and really bothered my birdsnest. Right now the birdsnest is very happy.
