JB Water Weld is a two part that you cut the amount needed and knead it together. It might be a little cheaper and it is thick so you can control it. It takes a little longer to set up, but it gives you more time. You can also use krazy glue between the joints of the water weld for an instant bond. It dries white, but algae will cover that up in no time. It is potable water compatible, so it is fine in the tank.

I JUST SPENT 16 BUCKS ON EPOXY, now its hardened on me, how to soften it?
Unfortunatly cured. Once exposed to air, you have less than 5 minutes.

Sorry to say, but it is 2 part because you don't mix it until ready to use. Once mixed you have a time limit, and once it has hardened, that it. remove it and try again. Best to use in small amounts at first until you have a feel for what it is like. Some have faster dry times than others, but once dry, start over.
