Any advice is greatly appreciated on how to battle the screen algae that I keep getting in my aquarium. I am so tired of it. I don't know what to do anymore. I have a predator tank so a clean up crew is out of the question.
Ph - 8.2
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- .05
Nitrate- 50
Alkalinity- 7.8
Calcium- 459
Phosphate- .25
Magnesium- 1200
I recently started a algae scrubber, and its full of algae. I've tried algaefix no luck. Tried shorter lighting schedule no luck
Tried feeling less, no luck
Tried blackout no luck it just came back
The tank is 6 months old
Any ideas on this battlefield issue are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I recently had an ich outbreak and dosed rally pro from ruby reef and I think it helped with my algae issues

I’m not positive on this. I’m fairly new still. But I got a sea hare and was researching and they eat algae, people use them to wipe out algae outbreaks in their tank. I’m not positive on what kind of algae they will and will not eat but definitely something to look into.
Another plus is the sea hare is adorable.. or well I think lol.
