I have noticed these guys on my frag plugs recently. None of my corals are suffering but want to nip a problem before it becomes a bigger deal.

Video is them in a coral rx dip. Don't mind my screaming child in the background.

Oh crap- These are red or black bugs.
You will need to didp . dip, and dip until they and their eggs are gone. Red bugs are small flea-like beasts that can infest smooth-skinned acro. To kill them, you will need to obtain a medicine which is actually dog medication, and you must obtain it from a vet known as Interceptor.
You will need to turn off skimmer, and smash the pill up with a spoon and treat. One tablet of Interceptor should treat about 400g of water. I would remove all snails hermit crabs and also shrimp if you have these placing themin a safe tank separate from your reef tank.

Looks like Red Bugs to me. I've used Dr. G's coral dip and it has worked amazing for getting rid of them for me. No side effects whatsoever to my Zoas, LPS, SPS inverts, or fish. I forget the exact treatment dosage but if you search you can find what others have used.

The same ingredient in Interceptor is also in Dr. G's coral dip which makes it a good option as you don't have to go to your vet and beg them for a prescription.
