Best removal is to take frag out and place in small container of tank water and gently scrape off with edge of a paring knife and return frag to tank

This is my philosophy also. Let the tank do its thing and the microfauna and biodiversity will balance itself out. Yes having utilitarian fish or cleaners can help to but mainly I prefer to let nature run its course.I have a few on my zoas that I see when they retract at night... I'm leaving em (for now). It's a filter feeder. I'd actually like to get it into the refugium somehow for some more (free) bio filtration...
