Hi i collected this tang in the mexican caribbean ocean and at the beginning it was all gray and now it is showing very nice patterns and colors
Does anybody knows what type of tang is this??

Hope you have a big tank, this is a Doctorfish tang (Acanthurus chirurgus). They don’t stay small so I’d recommend Atleast a 10’ tank if not 14’+.

I definitely want one. That means I will have to start looking at 14' tanks!

It is in a quarantine tank right now but i will eventually put it in my red sea 300xl
