Help Iding an anemone

So I just noticed this little guy coming out of my live rock was wondering if anyone could id him yet.

Looks like aiptasia to me. I can't really tell without a better pic.

My first thought too, aptasia. Better pic would help. If worried, kill it before it becomes a problem.

Ok you guys were right after looking up the aptasia it has the step and it retracts like most articles it should do online. So in everyone's opinion should I get some peppermint shrimp to kill this guy off ? If I get one will he eat all anemones ? I eventually want to get a clown fish and an anemone I know one isn't required but I do like the blue tipped ones. Just wanted to make sure before I bought another creature for the tank.

We'll you don't need to buy a peppermint unless you just want too. The best way I have found to get rid of aiptasia is a product called joes juice you can order it from dr foster and smith..you can also just boil some water and get a syringe and just blast hot water over it until it melts. And no a regular anemone such as a bubble tip, long tentacle, or a carpet won't get ate by a peppermint shrimp so if you do get one you don't to worry about that.
