Need help!!!! I just tried to move this mushroom coral to a different spot but when I took the plug off the rock it flew into the glass and into the sand. The goal was to make it look more natural and get rid of the plug... It got cut in many places and I found some pieces of it. Do you think it can rebound? Or is it completely dead. Here are before and after pics from today. Should I give up and just take it out and buy a new mushroom? Anyone have any other advice?

I found one of the pieces and placed it next to it, it's a low flow area already. Is there a chance either of these grow back?
