The guy who gave me this frag didn't even know what it is. They are not fully extended yet since I just put it in.

the coral looks nice and heathy ,see new growth edge,care mod flow,mod light,i did not see eye either..lol :cool:

I see , thank you :). I googled it and it does look like goni. All the polyps still haven't extended yet since I just put it in. Is it hard to care for?

no as as much as in past,i believe yours is "homegrown" aqua cultured,in the past we all bought these wild big beautiful ones just to watch slowly get smaller and well ,sump rock,we have learned a lot in the past few decades! ok sorry are you feeding tank any type of coral food?

I see. Why did they get smaller? They died a slow death? :(

I occasionally feed Reef Roids, maybe once a week, but I haven't seen any progress yet. The food seems to do very little. The fish all go crazy for it, though :D

exactly :(but we learned,just keep on your roids will do just fine once a week is perfect;)
