recently, I acquired a used dolphin pump and a used Iwaki 100 RLT pump. Both have significant corrosion, but function well. I would like to restore then to prevent further corrosion and pump failure. I welcome any and all advice!

I don't have any experience with restoring aquatic pumps but I'd recommend grinding down the rust and spraying with a saltwater resistant paint.

We've done it on vehicles and equipment for work.
