My fish are coming up missing. These are healthy fish with nothing wrong.
Everything about the tank and water is good and checked once a week.
I purchased two Diamond Back Gobies. The smallest one disappeared the same day we put her in the tank. The second one, twice the size, lasted three days. My neighbor found his body with no head. Healthy fish! Our beautiful Tang, orange tipped fins and white tail, which we've had almost as long as we've had the tank was swimming and doing its thing when I turned off the lights at 9 p.m. last night. At 3 my husband got up and turned on the room light. Tang came out and started swimming like normal. At 5 a.m. , my husband woke me up to tell me Tang was DEAD! Our little Dotttie Back, DEAD! Why, if the water is good are these fish dying. Nothing on their bodies. Our Cleaner Wrasse does a good job keeping everyone clean and no signs of Ick.
What is killing my fish?

What other fish are in the tank?

Others will probably come along with more questions.

We took everything out of the tank so I could see my fish. My DottieBack is dying. My blue Damsel has it on him. What is it? and how do we treat it?

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

What other fish are in the tank? The dottyback looks like something has attacked it, its fins are all ripped.
Are you seeing rapid breathing in any fish before they died? If you can't tell, you can post a video and we can assess it for you.
Does the water test o.k.?

Is there no rock in this tank? Without rock, there is no biofiltration.

I also see no flow? Did you turn off the flow for the video, or always no flow?

How is the tank oxygenated? You need some surface agitation.

How old is the tank? How many gallons? How long have you had the fish? Can you list your fish?

Here is Topaz swimming. No heavy breathing from any fish.
What is the full fish list for the tank?
What invertebrates are in the tank other than the snails I can see in the video?

I have a Mollie, Long Nose Hawkfish, two clowns, Coral Hogfish, Lemon Peel Angel, Coral Beauty Angel, Cleaner Wrasse, Six Line Wrasse, Melanarus Wrasse, what I was told was a Harlequin Wrasse (I'm not sure though), Fairy Wrasse, had a Tang, Dottie Back and two Diamond Back Gobies.
We have six crabs, Turbo Snails and, what I call, an Alien Snail because he buried himself in the sand and sticks up his little periscope.
All of the fish get along fine. No fighting or nipping or bullying.
This tank has a filter and an overflow so plenty of flow and oxygen.
The rocks were taken out yesterday but liquid bacteria has been added to keep good bacteria in tank.
I don't want to put nothing back into the tank until whatever this is, is fixed.
I'm very And extremely upset.

That's quite a list of some really nice fish. What size is your tank?

Here are some of my fish. The white checkered one is what I was told is a Harlequin Wrasse.

Several of these fish type are fairly aggressive. Is there ANYWHERE to hide in this tank or is it just a very small dusting of sand and a ton of fish? If it's the latter your fish are extremely stressed with nowhere to hide or territory to claim. Fish store style tanks aren't designed to keep fish for more than a week or 2
