Hi guys im finally filling my red sea e260 max after a year just sitting there! But got problem in that its not filling of water to correct level

Iv got sump conversion and got the open plugs on left and right on lower half of tank to replace the solid caps when running the internal skimmer setup!

Thing is that the level of water is like way below the filter comb/sive on the weir and when add more water it just fills the sump up higher and not tank!

Have you got to run the 2 internal pumps from red sea on the 2 outlets (1 each side at top) so the water dont keep going into weir at back and down the lower drain into sump?

cannot get level high enough

In this image it shows the internal skimmer removed and both circulation pumps still connected via the green tubing. I assume this is to ensure there's flow within the rear chamber and no dead spots.

Measure the stub, go to the Hardware, ACE Recommended. In their hardware section, they will have Bolt End Covers, put one over the Stubbed Pipe. You could even force a smaller on down inside the Stubbed Pipe. The other idea would be to get a Small Rubber 90 and put a short piece of Lee’s Clear Rigid tube in it for a Surface Skimmer. For the 90 look under labware on Amazon.
