Shine a flashlight on the rock and then take a picture. Did you look at the TBS hitchhiker page to see if you can identify it from there?

Can you post a clearer photo? About what size is it now? Does it retract at all when disturbed? Can you see a skeleton at all?
Not a Zoa if it retracted all the way into the rock . I say possible Majano nems. Pest.

I went to poke it and it retracted all the way into the rock.
Currently, I would say it’s the size of a fat zoa polyp
Nah, I’ve had those in the past. This looks too soft bodied. Hidden cups have small well defined stony pores that they live in. This one I had on live rock a few years ago .Might be a hidden cup coral.
