Hi reef to reef paul from oregon,this is my 4th tank and i still learn something everyday .this came in on my live rock its hard and kinda looks like a pineapple what ever it is its kinda cool thank you

Looks like a brain coral/moon coral.

Down here in Florida we have a common coral that we find attached to live rock all over the place that looks quite similar. We call it 'golfball' coral. It's real name is Favia fragrum.

I used live rock from rock and reef in florida. I highly recommended I had no cycle this time no problem LG none of the Uglies I'm very impressed with There decorator rock

Could be a lesser Starlet coral.Which may or may not be the same thing as that "golf ball" coral.
