Absolutely, 30% water changes planned for the next couple of days.
I just checked 'Ultimate Reef's' Calcium and Alkalinity balance calculator. According to that calculation, at 504 Calcium, my potential Alk could rise to 20 dkh? If that's correct......:(

No. I dose 80ml ish a day of all for reef in my 75 gallon. If that was right, I would have the world record for alk consumption lol

If I did the Calcium test correctly (why does it have to be so complicated), my Calcium is at 504. Using Hannah checker.
Considering I keep my Calcium around 440, I wouldn't worry about 500.

Thanks everyone for the replies and advice! I did a 25% water change again this morning. 24 hours after the overdose, Alk is at 8.7, up from 8.0 yesterday. I'll keep measuring every couple of hours. Another water change again tomorrow if Alk keeps going up. My fresh cut orange passion frag is RTN'ing, but so far all other frags look okay.
