Thanks for the information. I just purchased a used Apex Classic and was wondering how to Factory Reset this controller. It was driving me nuts seeing the previous owners settings.

Thanks again!

Curious what to do if one doesn’t have an Apex Display or original owner’s credentials?...is there still a method to reset an Alex Classic?

per one of the steps from Neptune Ive installed their Flash program and still being prompted for u/n and p/w when trying to ‘open in browser’ for the new discovered Apex on my network.

Am I up the creek without buying a Display?

Have you tried the default admin/1234 credentials after the flash program reset?

Thanks. I’ve recently received a link and instructions for the reset flash program from Neptune support. I be giving it a go this weekend. Cheers

I did a reset and worked, but when I go back to flash the main firmware it reinstalls the user name and password I was trying to reset.

Example:
after reset firmware apex is:
Apex 1.1.1.1 admin/1234

after reinstalling current firmware for my classic apex it, changes names and IP
reeftank 10.216.2.2. admin/?????

The 10.216.2.2 is my regular home network IP but apex reverts back what i was trying to reset. Did like 4 times same results. Any one can help?
