The fish looks pretty thin. Is it getting enough nori or other algae? Can't say with certainty what those sores are, could be malnutrition or secondary bacterial infection. Doesn't suggest active ich/crypto to me.

It was in QT before hand for a month I was feeding algae sheets not nori though and I believe spectrum pellets as well as mysis shrimp

Almost looks bacterial in nature to me. Not sure what your quarantine process entails. Was it just observation or did you prophylactically treat? Looks quite thin also. Was the fish dewormed? What does it’s feces look like?

Agree on bacterial issue.
Before treatment- focus on water quality.
What is your:
ammonia
nitrate
ph
salinity
water temp
Age of Tank
Type of water used- RODI or Tap from faucet?
Type of test kits you are using?

Ethromyacin or maracyn 2 will be best treatment in QT tank.

Feed sparingly for now to maintain water quality. Bump temo to aleast 77-78 deg. Ammonia testing is a must as it will contribute to bacteria, low oxygen and increase in your case nitrates.
If you dont have a kit, have a trusted LFS test it for you as long as they dont use API test kit which are very unreliable.
What test kits are you using ?

Tank is still maturing, so be sure to monitor regularly at least another month
