Help T5 ballasts very hot!

I finished my retro t5 kit and all 3 ballasts are very hot to the touch. Can't keep my finger on them.

Also they are not in a canopy just mounted to a board and hung with not fans.

Whose ballasts? And are you 100 percent sure you have the right ballast for the number and length of bulbs?

They are the HEP ballast from reef geek. 2 bulbs on each.

I just added a fan to each of the ballasts and it cooled it significantly. Now they are just a little warm.
